Three Aspens Services
At Three Aspens, we tackle interrupted neural signals using a system we call NeuroReactivation™.
We help clients of all ages suffering from physical and cognitive blocks to learning to realize their potential and to gain self-confidence, self-esteem and self-reliance. All of our practitioners are highly trained and certified in a variety of Kinesiology and other alternative health techniques. Each of us has experienced first-hand the results of these complementary methods.
It’s Not All Just In Your Head
When attempting to unravel the mystery of learning difficulties, it is natural to focus on the brain alone. After all, learning has to do with thinking, so where else would the problem lie?
When we think about learning, we tend to focus on just the cognitive, or thinking aspect of what is happening. If we are dealing with physical learning, healing, and recovery, we tend to focus on just strengthening the muscles or physical structure. But anyone who has lived with a block to learning, either in themselves or in someone they know, will quickly tell you that what seems to lie behind the difficulty exists on many more levels than just the brain.
We see a much bigger picture.
Stress and Learning
Learning happens all the time, no matter where we are. We learn not only from the book we read, or the lecture we hear, but also from the sounds, smells, sights, and sensations that we experience. From infancy, we take in massive amounts of information from our environment and form pathways in our brain that enable us to function, grow and develop. But what if there are glitches in this process?
There is no doubt that in order to effectively address the system breakdowns that influence learning difficulties, we need to address the ‘stressed’ pathways or circuits in the brain. We call these the brain-to-brain, or Neurological connections. But we also must consider the stressed circuits running from the brain-to-body, or Neuromuscular connections. If we cannot properly process any of these connections, we have an inefficient system.
The brain’s primary job is to keep us alive. In an ideal situation, the brain brings in information, filters out what is relevant and discards what is irrelevant. The brain then takes the relevant information and determines whether this information poses a stress or threat to our system. If the information is deemed stressful, the brain will then initiate signals that enable us to avoid this stress. Seems pretty straightforward – until the system cannot operate effectively.
We experience stress on the physical level, mental, emotional, even spiritual levels – and stress is a very subjective thing! What registers as stressful to a 3 year-old might not even be noticed by a 23 year-old.
When the human system experiences stress, interesting things happen in the brain. Parts of our brain that operate ‘under the radar’ divert bloodflow to the ‘stress management’ centers so that we can, hopefully, avoid whatever is stressing us. When this happens, the pathways that are set in response to the experience become locked around the stress management centers. Now, no matter what age we are, if we experience something similar, our brain goes into its ‘subroutine’ and starts firing off the adrenaline, raising the blood pressure, making our palms sweat, etc. This pathway is now inefficient, and instead of helping us to interact with our learning world, it becomes a drain on our resources.
We now have a system breakdown, a breakdown that can show itself as a learning difficulty. Our brain cannot determine what is and is not relevant, cannot discard what is irrelevant, and cannot act on what is relevant. Furthermore, our brain probably is no longer holding on to information, so it must go into 'hyper information-gathering' mode in an attempt to continue doing its job. Our brain is not attention deficit – it's hyper-attentive!
NeuroReactivation™
Through personal experience and study, as well as clinical experience and observation, we have identified the modalities and techniques that we feel best combine to address learning difficulties - whether in the mind, body or spirit. It is from this that Three Aspens was born – and a devotion to providing clients with the Kinesiology and energy-based techniques that yield the best results. It is from this that we designed NeuroReactivation™, a collection of revolutionary alternative methods which, when combined properly, address the broken pathways in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual systems.

We'll Even Come to You!
We understand that travelling to Boulder, especially with children, is a big commitment for a lot of people. If there is a large group of people in one geographical area (minimum 6), we will travel as a team to come work on people. If there is a large community that would like to hear from us, we can even give a talk. This works extremely well when we have one or two advocates in that area who have access to a large database of people, like a School District or their own client database.
If you are interested in having our team come to you, please call us at 303-475-9322. We'll do our best to figure out a solution!
